The stay was wonderful, particularly looking forward to visiting the vibrant Mercado 10 de Agosto, just a short stroll away. The spacious King Room with a balcony was impressive, providing a peaceful escape from the city noise with double door windows. It was great to be only one block from the main Plaza. One downside was the breakfast that remained quite similar each day, but it was still tasty considering the overall value of the stay.

Beautiful building and rooms with 2 balconies. A wide array of goodies for breakfast. Great and favourable location for our visit to a culture museum not too far from the hotel.

Decent amount of space in the better rooms, making it somewhat enjoyable to stay in for a night.
Rooms lacked soundproofing entirely, and lighting from the lobby kept me awake well into the night. The bed is way too soft with pillows that barely provide support, which makes for a rough sleep. Upon a return visit, cleanliness in the bathroom needs serious attention and breakfast not being served until 8 is limiting, especially for early risers who might appreciate a better coffee selection and more diverse food options.

The hotel is conveniently located just a block from the main plaza, making it easy to explore Cuenca's vibrant atmosphere.
The mattress was soft, which may not be ideal for those who prefer firmer support, leading to uncomfortable nights.

Unexpected charm amidst old beauty
The hotel's location is perfect, just a block from the main plaza. Enjoyed a spacious King Room that provided a peaceful escape with lovely city views.
The soft mattress and low ceilings in some rooms posed a challenge, and I found the Wi-Fi connection to be quite weak .

The location is excellent, just a block from the main plaza. While the first room was disappointing and noisy, the staff was helpful in moving me to a much larger and quieter room that matched the photos. Breakfast exceeded my expectations, and the friendly atmosphere. The older building means creaky floors could be an issue if you're sensitive to noise.
